SAMANTHA (SAM) GOVONI

Samantha — or Sam — holds a B.F.A. in Performing Arts from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and has always worked through movement. Alongside her freelance dance career in Boston, she began teaching Pilates Mat and Barre Fitness in 2015, trained by Master Instructor Zayna Gold. After moving to Brussels, she completed her Balanced Body training with Master Educator Michael Lots and became a certified Comprehensive Pilates instructor in 2021. Continuing her professional development, Samantha specialised in prenatal and postnatal support in 2023 through Core Exercise Solutions.

DIGDEM YAVUZ

After more than 10 years of experience in finance as a risk and internal control expert, Digdem decided to follow her passion for Pilates and began the Balanced Body instructor training program in 2022. She combines discipline with compassion, bringing her own personal experience to her teaching. She is passionate about creating dynamic and creative programs tailored to her clients’ needs.

CRISTINA VADUVA

Cristina is a physiotherapist, massage therapist, and Pilates & Yoga instructor. She completed the Balanced Body Pilates instructor training in 2017. Her physiotherapy background allows her to guide and support you safely and effectively, adapting each session to your individual needs.

CLAIRE BERCHEM

After years of classical dance training, Claire developed a passion for pole dance and the Pilates Method, completing the Balanced Body Comprehensive Pilates Instructor training. Today, she teaches these complementary disciplines to help each person better understand their body, challenge themselves, and enjoy moving with confidence and fun.

EVELYNE WELTZ

Ten years ago, after a serious illness, Evelyne turned to Pilates Mat and Yoga to move gently, protect her joints, and rebuild her strength. Later, while preparing for surgery, she discovered the Pilates Method and immediately knew she wanted to share its benefits with others. Trained at Bhealthy Pilates Studio under Michael Lots, she now leads classes where everyone can move, strengthen their body, and feel good — simply and at their own pace.

After nearly five years as a tax lawyer, Victoria left the legal profession to pursue a life centred around movement and studio well-being. Now a full-time Pilates instructor, she guides you through dynamic, tailored, and supportive sessions that respect your needs and your abilities.

WEITING YAO

Passionate about movement since childhood, Weiting first discovered Pilates alongside her love of dance. After several years of studying and working in business and international development, she rediscovered Pilates in 2021 and fell in love with it. More recently, she began her instructor training with Balanced Body. Attentive and energetic, she is dedicated to helping her students — especially those who work at a desk — reconnect with their bodies, release tension, and build strength.

PATRICIA (PATY) HEREDIA

With a professional background in executive assistance, Paty has worked in various sectors while always keeping a place for her passion for physical activity. After several years in banking, she experienced burnout. It was then that a friend introduced her to Pilates — a true revelation. She decided to deepen her practice and began her training, before traveling to Cambodia to fulfill a dream. Life eventually brought Paty back to Belgium, where she continues her journey today, sharing the strength, balance, and well-being that Pilates has brought into her life.
